I lived fully immersed in the pursuit of athletic performance as aDivisionIIcollege football wide receiver at LIU Post, while completing my undergraduate degree inNutrition.Football shaped my identity, my discipline, and my vision for the future. Like many competitive athletes, I believed progress meant pushing harder, ignoring pain, and proving resilience through suffering. During those years, my body absorbed the cost of that mindset, herniated discs, vertebral fractures, rotator cuff pathology, and knee ligament injuriesaccumulated as I continued to train and compete without truly prioritizing rehabilitation, mobility, neuromuscular control, or lifestyle behaviors that support long-term tissue health. I had the work ethic and the drive, but I lacked the framework to protect the system I was demanding so much from.
After graduating from LIU Post in2017, I transitioned into personal training while continuing to pursue competition througharena football tryouts and high-level professional flag football. At the same time, I began working closely with clients who had been told by physicians and other providers that they would never lift heavy again, train hard, or return to the sports and activities they loved because of prior injuries or diagnoses. Rather than reinforcing fear and avoidance, I focused on intelligent loading, movement quality, neuromuscular re-education, and lifestyle optimization. I watched people reclaim confidence in their bodies and realize they were far more capable than they had been led to believe.
I began my journey at Touro University, where I pursued and earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy from 2021 to 2024. My education deepened my understanding of biomechanics, motor control, pain science, tissue loading, and clinical decision-making. I wasn’t just learning how to treat injuries, I was learning how to build resilient systems that allow people to function, perform, and live fully despite past setbacks.
I completed an Orthopedic Residency while working full time and continuing my professional development. This period refined my clinical reasoning and reinforced a core belief that now defines my practice: a diagnosis does not dictate someone’s future poor strategy does. With the right approach, the human body is adaptable, resilient, and capable of far more than most people are told.
Today, everything I do is rooted in function, movement quality, and long-term health. I believe your body is not something to “get through life with,” but something to invest in so it can support the life you want to live. My mission is to help people train intelligently, move confidently, and refuse to let injuries, labels, or fear prevent them from living fully. You only get one body taking care of it isn’t optional if you want to maximize your time while you’re alive.
